I take my senior citizens there once a week. Their store is always clean, people are friendly and there is always a nice gentleman at the pharmacy that helps one of my residents find everything on her list because she can not see. That says a lot about the people there.
Not the best shopping experience, always long lines even late at night. Prices are comparable to Amazon on most things. So many of the items are junk, bad design, extremely low cost, short lifespan, straight to the trash temporary use items pretending to be usable consumer grade products.
This Walmart was pretty good. They didn’t have too much stock left on some things like shelving and storage for dorms but this was right when college started. Almost every lane was open though and we were able to quickly check out. The employees were very helpful.
I usually have an average experience here, but almost invariably, my boyfriend runs into the rudest customers. Lots of Purdue students. Frequently, customers lack many courtesies, save the young couples and older customers (generally, not always the case). It's the strangest phenomenon, b/c if you go across town to the Lafayette Warts, everything is so much nicer and more positive.
I can't think of a single bad time that I had with this Walmart. They keep is clean and well stocked and it is one of the main hubs for people getting groceries and other things from Purdue so there is always a lot of college students. Has a great selection of anything you want for cheap prices. While I am not typically a fan of Walmart because of how I hear they treat their employees, the people here seem friendly enough. I will always be returning here
