Remember to park in the parking garage, great variety of food shops. Great place for a group of friends to t lunch or dinner
It had been a few years since going down to the"Levee". We went to just a movie and enjoyed the theater as well as the movie. Hopefully when all the construction is done this area will shine it's true colors again.
Parking!!! The parking garage is free (with validation) and most of my friends were unaware of this until I told them so. The garage is fairly convenient and well connected to all the places within the shopping center.
The parking situation is horrendous. It was bad before they started construction out front but now they cut front parking down to almost nothing. You either have to park in the garage or in the back overflow parking lot behind the theater because there are NEVER any parking spots in front. Getting carry out from one of the restaurants? Oh forget about it in the winter!!! It’s fridgid because the wind is directed right in the area where you can walk from the theater to Scotty’s Brewhouse. Not to mention the awful smell!!! I hope it’s just because of construction, but I’m sure it’s because it’s close to the water. It smells like an outdoor toilet. So frustrating. I feel bad for the people who work here. It’d be amazing if they’d invest in one/some of those large outdoor patio heaters that they use for outdoor/open air malls.
Nice shops and sidewalk, but parking was cut in half, making it even crazier than before.
