My boyfriend and I like to eat here any time we’re in the area. The menu has a plethora of vegetarian options that are filling and DELICIOUS. The lentil soup is perfect every time! My personal favorite thing to get is the mazaa platter, you get all the goods: filafil, grape leaves, tabouleh, hummus, pita YUM. The service has been great every time! Such sweet and funny wait staff. Be aware that if they’re decently busy, you may have to wait for service a little bit, but working in the industry, we don’t mind that at all. It’s a family owned restaurant, small and kind of hidden. A real gem, honestly.
Awful experience! Horrible (inept and ungracious) service; terrifically over-priced food (much higher than what is listed in the on-line menu); order was incomplete (i.e., missing listed items), offensive political views (via flags, signs, etc.) all over the walls ... REALLY poor! Very sad because years ago this was one of our favorite restaurants in town! The food is still good, but the hassle is just not worth it.
Delicious Middle Eastern food. Coming from a city where good, authentic food of various types is the norm, I certainly didn't expect to find it in this little college town. But the minced beef shawarma was so good, I went to sleep that night craving more and wishing I could have a Blue Nile close to home! The only down side is that because it's a family-run place where the kids help out, you can't help but overhear arguments (mom telling kid to finish her food, etc.) That could also be charming if you're in the mood!
Good Mediterranean food. The seating area is small and cramped, but the service was very nice and friendly. This place is hard to find if you do not know where you are going.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The food was delicious and the staff was very pleasant. I will definitely return. Please keep in mind that it is a small, quaint restaurant, so a big weekend on campus could be a bit crazy. Overall, we loved it!
