Food is very good. Servers were friendly and atmosphere was good. I am plannimg to come here again for sure. 5 stars!

12 pm - Arrived and seated outside
12:25 - My beer (which I wouldn't have initially ordered if I knew I was going to eat breakfast food) and the hot chocolate arrive, but not the ice tea.
12:30 - Orders taken
12:55 - Most food arrives (3/4 of the Weekend Special doesn't arrive), side dish of another order is incorrect and taken back. (While waiting for food someone from our table had to get up and get the pitcher of ice water on a side table to refill our glasses. This was the only time they were refilled.)
Very good service and good food make this quaint two-story eatery a nice breakfast destination. A friend from out-of-state suggested breakfast at the Town & Gown Bistro one Saturday. The last time I had eaten here, it was Spurlock's. Capp & Gino's before that. We ordered the breakfast special of two eggs, a meat, toast, pancake or French toast, and coffee. Everything tasted good and was prepared well. The seasoning on the food was light, but I prefer that to over-seasoned. The only suggestion I have would be to ask for warm maple syrup. The stuff on the table was stone cold and detracted from the delicious food. Also, in a word of caution, the coffee is strong. Even the most caffeine-adjusted adult can't down three cups without risking sleep for days. It was some of the better coffee in town. Overall, not a bad breakfast. I'll definitely consider T&G for another visit.
1:25 Check finally arrives. We were charged for the ice tea that never came, plus 3/4 of the Weekend Special that never arrived, and we were charged a la carte for the missing items because it wasn't the weekend, not recognizing the fact that they changed the food service to weekend breakfast hours; strange...) We notify the waiter of their error.
1:00 Corrected side dish arrives
Very interesting breakfast place, out party of 5 was quickly seated and our order came out within 15 minutes. The home fries were excellent as were the delicious strawberry pancakes. The bacon and eggs were tasty. We loved the service and fair prices. Highly recommended.
12:10- Water served
Presentation here is terrible. But I still love eating here. They have an interesting menu and the espresso is really good. I love the salmon canapés and the Reuben. Those are the best items to get in my opinion, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. As far as location goes, it looks super out of place and it’s somewhat difficult to get to. But it’s worth it.

12:20 - As drink orders were being taken, we were, informed that they were not serving lunch today (basically extending weekend breakfast hours). Some of us need more time to change what we would order. (It would have been helpful to know this when we were being seated.)
