Due to an injury many years ago I have suffered consistent neck and shoulder pain (sitting in front of the computer all day hasn't helped either). I had worked with other therapists in Indiana but found they didn't have the strength to work out the kinks and knots to provide the proper relief. I went to Jerry on a referral from a friend and have now been a client for 5 years, knowing that my muscles will get the best therapy, stretching and treatment required. Touch for Health is not a fancy day spa, it's top notch massage of all types from a therapist that works with Olympic athletes.
I recently got back into running after having three kids. While training for a recent marathon I pulled my hamstring and I wasn't able to "fix" it on my own. Jerry was recommended by one of my coworkers and what a find! I continue to go to Jerry every couple of weeks for massage and advice to increase my strength and keep me injury free. I've been able to keep my mileage up without another problem. Jerry identifies the issue, works on the problem area and suggests ways to prevent problems/injuries from occuring. He has worked on top athletes in many different sports and therefore knows athletes, both those at the top of the game and those wanting to participate. He provides an absolutely excellent massage! I agree with other posts here-this isn't a fancy day spa but it is definitely the very best massage you will get for miles around! And, yeah he's really strong!
Jerry has worked many miracles on my legs! I went from crying from pain after running just two miles to training and finishing a half with zero pain! I have since ran three more half marathons and continued my therapy with him. Words of encouragement and coaching were appreciated as well. Could not have done it without Jerry! He is magic!
This guy is legit. Not a frou-frou massage place--this is where you go if you lifted a heavy box the wrong way, pulled a muscle while running, etc.
this guy knows what he is doing. it isn't one of those spas where they pat you down with oil and put on crappy indie music, rubbing the muscles with the faintest idea of muscle or tendon physiology. he deals with athletes and treats injuries at a professional, informed level, gives great advice and really knows his stuff.
