Recently just got a cut and was attended to by a new person - a blonde girl. To begin, her attitude was poor, she didn't follow instructions properly and the resulting job was a disaster. After paying, I walked out and when to great clips to have that disaster touched up.
I got a haircut/trim. My stylist was very knowledgeable and gave me exactly what I wanted. I am very happy with my hair and love it. I got about 4 inches of dead ends off. I don't get hair cuts often and didn't know what to ask for so I just asked," to get rid of the ends and do what you think is best," and the stylist did a great job and I like how she did it. My hair feels awesome and I I recommend this place. The haircut was $15 with a hair wash included which is a fair and competitive price in the area.
I had Laura twice and she was great! But unfortunately, my good impression ends here, as it appears that the good skills varies greatly between employees.
It's summer so not a lot of staff ready to roll so it took a few minutes to get in. That was the ONLY negative. The haircut was perfect, nice chat up with the stylist, and the price comparable to other locations. I now look like a decent human being again. Thank you!

If you can, DON’T GO THERE!! I am not sure how good they cut the hair. But I know they don’t value a customer’s time and do little to keep their word. I walked in to saloon today (3/5/17). A young lady working there checked me in and I was told to wait for 30 minutes. That was pretty OK, only one guy in front of me in the queue. I keep waiting, and the queue gets builds up. Many people take appointment from her and left. The young lady was very slow in cutting hair and took more than 25 minutes per each customer. That’s also OK for me. I was still waiting. Then another customer walked in and later the person in the queue and I realized that he had an appointment. LIE 1: she didn’t take into account reserved appointments when she told me 30 minutes waiting time. The new guy was taken in for the haircut, that’s also OK. Another man walked in to the shop and he also had an appointment at 2:00 pm. So now there were 3 people in the queue including him. So I asked the young lady, when would be my turn. LIE 2: She replied that I would be the next to the one who is already waiting. After that another kid and his father walked in; they took appointment after me (I was there when they took the appointment). The young lady after 20 minutes called me and said that I have to wait till she finish the other two people !! The one who has an appointment at 2:00 pm makes sense, even though she lied to me initially! But how come the kid and his father who came after me got in !! It was a pretty good Sunday and she spoiled my time (more than 2 hours) and insulted me by not keeping her word! She didn’t even keep track of the register who came first. I won’t recommend this place to anyone. It was going to be my first haircut after I moved in to West Lafayette. It was a very awful experience. What was very funny is that while I was sitting there and when a new call came to her for scheduling an appointment, she told all of them a time which is not at all achievable (even if she take only 10 minutes to the existing customers). It clearly shows that she didn’t value anyone’s time!
