I should add that they also helped us figure out all of Finn's numerous environmental and food allergies, and found a solution that would give him relief. He was absolutely miserable a few months ago due to all of his environmental allergies, and he felt so much better after starting on the medication Dr. Ehlers prescribed. He is doing so much better thanks to all of the extra work Dr. Ehlers put in and it's so nice to see him happy and goofy again.
We have been taking our Shiba Inus, Finn and Evie, to Pets and Vets as Partners for more than a year now and we love how thorough they are when examining them. I feel like Finn and Evie are receiving the best vet care, and I am so thankful for everyone on the staff and the care they provide to Finn and Evie. We recently scheduled a dental for Finn and I had a few concerns and they listened to my concerns and adjusted accordingly and made it a positive experience for us. I was still nervous for Finn while he was there, but I knew he was being treated with kindness and I knew he was in great hands. I was especially happy that his vet tech, Amy, was familiar with Shiba Inus and their characteristics - It was a comforting thing to drop Finn off in the morning and meet the vet tech who would be with Finn throughout the day. Our Evie has some patella issues and I love that they always check her progress each time and they are very gentle with her during the exams, which is so important to us. Evie is such a sweet girl and she likes for people to say hello to her before the exam so she is more comfortable, and the vets and vet techs always take a moment to do that. We're so grateful for all of the professional care they have provided for Finn and Evie!
We have been going to Pets & Vets for about the last 16 years, and we love them. We've seen Dr. Strode for each of our last 5 cats, and she's always fantastic - she's caring, she's genuine, she's thorough, and she explains everything to you in a kind manner. We have appreciated the understanding of her and her entire staff when we made the decision to put down our elderly cat, and when we had 2 of our brother cats mysteriously die 6 months apart. Everyone there shows that they understand the grief that losing a precious animal brings to a family. I can't say enough good things about this place - I recommend them to everyone I know with an animal. I've never had a bad experience, and more importantly, neither have any of my animals.
Prompt and reasonably priced. Good explanations of what they were doing and why.
Amazing staff, knowledgeable veterinarians, clean facility. Prices are in the mid-range, but this clinic is certified by the American Animal Hospital Association, which means they're held to higher standards than a typical clinic. I would recommend to anyone.
We chose to go to Pets and Vets as Partners on a whim (puppy was sick I needed her in quickly to ease my mind). Our primary vet is 2.5 hours away so I started looking around. P&V got my puppy in quickly and our new Vet was a lover (and long time owner) of my specific breed! I love that I have found a vet that loves my puppy's breed just like I do and I know she will have tons of advice moving forward (plus she knows the quirks of this breed well)!
