When going in the shop with my friends . They where very rude. First a very old man told me that I️ had to go to a different person and the lady put other people in front of me . They where 2 white girls and she told me they where in front of me when I️ was already getting my nails done . Theses people are very rude and all want was my nails done .
I usually make an appointment with Helen for pink and whites. They never come off! I like the shape and she doesn't complain while doing my nails.
To anyone that goes to UV Nails on the West Side, the owners has the rudest customer service in town! The man name Sonny the women , college girls and high school girls say he creeps them out! I didn’t believe it at first until I seen it myself, this owner has a creepy way of touching women! When women come in with dresses or skirts on he will never put a towel over there laps! He likes to look up there skirts I’ve been told by a lot of customers! My rule of thumb is whe you wear dresses or skirts in to get pedicures I myself always put a towel over there laps! One time a client comes in for a pedicure she sits in the chair an the next thing Sonny comes back to turn on the massager on the chair, he reaches over an rub against her breast she felt so uncomfortable so she told her tech that she was violated but not just ones but twice so she started crying and got up and left!! She went on Facebook to tell people that Sonny is a perverted man! We never seen her back!! She told her husband that she was upset with the salon owners! I myself and my girlfriend had to apologized to her husband that it wouldn’t happened again ! Damn was I wrong!!! He does this to all Women! We lost so many customers all because of him! Anyways next thing when you get a full sets or fills he likes to rub he’s knees against ur legs under the table and jf you have anything on your lap, like your phone or wallet he will reach over and grap it off your lap that’s how he gets to touch you thighs, that to me is the most discussing thing ever! I sit on his right side at the manicure station and I see it all the time! The next thing he uses the tub by the fish tank to drain the water from tank to tub that’s is so freaking discussing and so unsanitary!!! So ladies don’t ever sit in that chair! One person already got Mersa from that tub! He is the only one that never uses any cleaning products on the tubs just spray it with water only! Everyone else use the right cleaning products!!! So if you really want to come to a place where you feel welcome I know a wonderful place for you to go it’s call Shilpa’s beauty Salon check them out! She is one of the most genuine , honest and have the best customer service you will ever see! There work is the best ! If you don’t believe me check her Instagram and Facebook! That’s all I got to say! Thank You for your time! One more thing Vanessa that works at UV Nails she is very sweet and humble, if you want to feel comfortable there go to her!!! She is awesome girl but I feel bad that she has to see Sonny do that to women!
The staff was great but my full set was TERRIBLE. it hasn't been a week yet & ive broken 8 nails going on 9 total doing everyday activities (tying garbage bags, opening cabinets, putting on my seatbelt). The first 3 days after getting them done you get them fixed free. After that they charge you. I broke 5 nails on day 4. They charged me to fix a terrible nail job that didn't even last a week. If the quality of work was better I'd give them more stars but I've never had a nail break until I went there.
Every time I come to UV Nails I receive courteous and prompt care. My nails are lovely and it is a relaxing experience. I cannot imagine the comment made below that the owner is rude and offensive to younger woman, for surely something would have come out of that complaint a long time ago. I feel the owner is respectful and honored.
